Change of Publishing Partner for the Journal of Orthopaedics

The Prof. PK Surendran Memorial Educational Foundation and Indo Korean Orthopaedic Foundation is pleased to announce that, beginning with the August 2026 issue, Scientific Scholar has become the publishing partner for the Journal of Orthopaedics.

The journal was previously published by Elsevier. Its title, ownership, sponsoring organizations, ISSNs, aims and scope, editorial leadership, and peer-review process remain unchanged. The Journal of Orthopaedics continues to be an official publication of the Prof. PK Surendran Memorial Educational Foundation and the Indo Korean Orthopaedic Foundation. Editorial direction, peer review, and final decisions remain under the authority of the Editor-in-Chief and the journal’s sponsoring organizations and are independent of the publisher.

From the August 2026 issue onwards, the journal is published under a gold open-access model, providing immediate access to all articles. New articles are prospectively published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
